Metal Powders
Our metal powders are gas-atomized through our patent-pending Spray Forming process. The powders are sieved to custom sizes and have been qualified for Additive Manufacturing processes including Laser Powder Bed Fusion, Binder Jetting and Laser Cladding. Spray-formed powders are characterized by:

THOR13 is a versatile, high-performance hot work tool steel renowned for its exceptional thermal resistance, toughness, and wear properties. Our THOR13 powder is tailored to Additive Manufacturing applications. We offer THOR13 in different particle sizes tailored for Binder Jetting, Laser Powder Bed Fusion, Electron Beam Melting and Laser Cladding / Directed Energy Deposition. With an achievable hardness up to 56 HRC after heat treatment, it is typically used in a variety of applications including:

  • Die casting of aluminium, magnesium and zinc
  • Forging tools
  • Extrusion dies
  • Mold tooling
